Claire has engaged in an active lifestyle from a young age through her involvement in dance. Her passion for dance has evolved over time into an interest in movement and health. Claire earned her Bachelor of Human Kinetics with Honours in Movement Science, and a minor in Psychology from the University of Windsor. While studying, she also worked as a dance instructor, teaching jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, pre-pointe, lyrical and early years classes. Through this role, she developed skills in assessing technique, providing individualized feedback, and promoting injury prevention. She went on to complete her Master of Physical Therapy at Western University, where she gained diverse clinical experience through placements in inpatient oncology, occupational health, pediatrics and sports rehabilitation. Growing up in Nova Scotia, Hannah started dancing at age 3 and continued performing until the end of high school. Hannah then completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics with Distinction at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Here, Hannah was a part-time ballet teacher as well as being part of the Student Athletic Therapy program where she worked with a variety of sports teams, with a focus on the cross country teams. Through this program, she gained skills in injury prevention, taping, and return to sport.
Following her time at St. Francis Xavier, Hannah completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Throughout this degree, she had a variety of clinical internships working with various populations, such as those with spinal cord injuries, amputations, athletic injuries, and oncological clients. This experience has given Hannah an appreciation for client-specific goal setting and personalized treatment. Abbey grew up in Oakville, Ontario, where she was a competitive dancer with the Canadian Dance Company from a young age. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors Human Ecology) from Brescia College. She completed her internship experience with the Toronto Shared Dietetic Internship Program in 2001.
Sarah has practiced dietetics extensively over the last 10 years in a variety of healthcare settings such as acute and ambulatory care, home care and private health clinics. Katie graduated from McGill University in 2009 and has been passionate about helping people stay active and perform at their best ever since. Growing up, she was an avid soccer player and first gained experience in the field while working as a student therapist with the McGill Women’s Soccer Team.
After graduation, Katie spent five years in a private sports medicine clinic, working with a wide range of clients from the general public. She then joined the Institut national du sport du Québec, where she worked with Canada’s high-performance national teams, including artistic swimming, Paralympic swimming, and canoe kayak. Ryan Wells graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to this he earned his Honors Baccalaureate of Science degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University.
